In this panoramic photo from the East Moraine of glacial Wallowa Lake, the partially timbered West Moraine can be seen below Chief Joseph Mountain. The two glaciers that joined to form these moraines flowed out of the Wallowa Mountains in the Eagle Cap Wilderness from either side of Mt. Bonneville, the pointed summit just left of center.
